Text messages

Text messaging is used to send short “canned” messages between the units and the bases. Pressing the (A) key once will bring up the ID list to choose which mobile or base to send the text message to. Once selected, press the (A) key again to bring up the ST (status message) list. Choose one of the messages, then press the PTT button once to send the message. Pressing the (A) key once more will put the radio back in the normal operations.
